Fujitsu CTO Joseph Reger said the Tablet PC is likely to replace traditional PC within the next five years.

Reger forecasted that tablet PCs such as iPad will erode PC sales, and in 2016 it will became the dominant device. Most users that create content important than the content consumer, desktop and notebook market, most business use only.

Reger believes that as prices drop, tablet PCs can be expensive to the user can have multiple models. Tablet PC will be the key to success is the application’s usability, Apple now has the advantage in its more than 10 million iPad native applications, Android, Blackberry, WebOS Tablet PC applications still far.

Fujitsu had been dependent on Microsoft’s serious, but now they have to break the routine, this summer launched the Android tablet. Fujitsu also suggests firms will shift away from notebook, or even the Windows trend.
