IDC latest data shows in Q2/2011, Western Europe smartphone shipments has increased from 48% to 52% with 21.8 million units shipment. But the feature phones shipments has been reduced from 29% to 20.4 million units, with 48% market share.
It’s the first time for smart phone overtake feature phone in market share in Western Europe. Many Western Europe telecom companies have stopped providing subsidies to feature mobile phone buyers. Western Europe Q2 market share ranking data is listed below:
