• THE game of this winter? World of Goo was released for iPad

Since 2008, this game makes splash on the PC and the Mac: World of Goo. It was listed as the second-best selling on Amazon. The pirated go well into the millions, as the developer 2D Boy gave up a copy.

The trade press is equally enthusiastic: The game has been repeatedly honored with the highest awards of relevant trade fairs and competitions, in short, this game is obviously a pleasure and attracts players from around the world. The soundtrack is now available for download and is a cult.

Now is the long awaited iPad version of World of Goo released. Does not come cheap with currently € 7.99 ( iTunes link ), but also for the appstore already are some upbeat comments to read.

The gameplay is not quite as easy to explain. You have to build from the Goo balls, small balls, elements, then the overcoming of obstacles and so on serve. Of course, there are built-odds, complicating the whole thing. Is certainly very nicely done, looks good.

World of Goo has the full potential to be THE blockbuster game of this winter.
